FAQ’s

Question: How Many Treatments will I need to see results?

Answer: Unfortunately, there is no one size fits all. Every individual is different so we are unable to determine prior to your visit the number of sessions that will be required to see results. We do recommend a minimum of 3-12 sessions for most treatments for maximum results. Some may require more or less than others, there are several things to take into consideration including your metabolism, pre-existing medical disorders, certain medications, your target area, your weight, the amount of fat or skin you have, your overall consistency and compliance with recommended treatment, and lifestyle.

Question: Is there anything that would disqualify me medically from receiving nonsurgical body contouring treatments?

Answer: Yes, unfortunately not all persons qualify for treatments!  If you have any of the following conditions, you are more than likely ineligible for treatment services.

  • Those with Hernia’s or mesh implants
  • Those who are pregnant and/or nursing.
  • Those who have metal or medical device implants, including pacemakers and some contraceptive devices.
  • Those who drink alcohol excessively or clients who have consumed alcohol the day of their treatment.
  • Those who currently have or have had cancer in the past are not eligible candidates for treatments unless cleared by their doctors.
  • Those who suffer from heart disease or have a history of heart attacks.
  • Those who have uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  • Those who have serious illnesses, such as acute infectious disease, skin diseases, lupus, or kidney disease.
  • Those with open wounds or medically diagnosed skin conditions, rashes, or other skin irritations are not allowed to receive treatment.
  • Those who are currently prescribed any type of blood thinner medication or coagulants are disqualified from services.
  • Those who have vein disorders and lymphedema.
  • Those with diabetes, epilepsy, or any other blood disorders.
  • Those who suffer from respiratory disorders.
  • Those who are currently on their menstrual cycle.

Question: Who is the ideal client?

Answer: Ideal non-surgical body sculpting clients are usually within 10-15 pounds of their goal weight, actively working out, and without any underlying health conditions.

If you are more than 15 pounds away from your goal weight you are not automatically disqualified for services. We do however recommend starting off with our detox services or starting off with one of our personalized weight loss packages first.

Question: What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Answer: Ultrasonic Cavitation is one of the most effective noninvasive methods of removing fat and cellulite, with effects that are remarkably like that of traditional liposuction surgery. Ultrasonic cavitation uses low frequency waves which forms small gas bubbles called cavitation bubbles, contributing to the destruction and reduction of fat cell membranes. Cavitation eliminates excess fat, promotes fat burning, sculpts, promotes blood circulation, and improves the appearance of stretch marks.

Question: What is Radio Frequency Skin Tightening?

Answer: Radio Frequency is used to further dissolve or soften fat to allow toxins to move through the body. This method is used to enhance the skin elasticity by breaking down old collagen to allow for the generation and growth of new collagen. When new collagen is produced the elasticity of the skin is improved. You may notice an itching sensation at the treatment area, do not scratch! Use oil or a light skin moisturizer.

Question: What is Laser Lipo?

Answer: Laser lipo (laser lipolysis) is another fat reduction treatment which is done by activating low level lasers. Fat is broken down, liquified, and passed out through the body in the form of urine, fecal, or sweat. Results are permanent and for most visible within 1 week to 6 months when combined with proper diet and exercise.

Question: What is Vacuum Butt Therapy or BBL

Answer: A nonsurgical treatment that uses a combination of vacuum therapy and cupping therapy to stimulate the muscles and/or reduce the appearance of cellulite. This service is used to enhance the buttocks or improve the appearance of hip dips. One session is the equivalent of 1000-1500 squats. Results can be maintained with proper maintenance appointments, shape wear, supplements, and targeted exercises.

Question: What is Wood Therapy?

Answer: Wood Therapy is a nonsurgical, non-electronic way to contour and shape the body. There are several tools and techniques used with this service. This service is strongly recommended for post-surgery clients or clients or have hard fat and areas of fibrosis or seroma.

Question: What is the downtime for service and is there any pain?

Answer: There is no downtime. You may resume your regular activities immediately after treatment. There may be slight discomfort, bruising or redness at the targeted treatment site, especially the lower stomach after cavitation and vacuum services. The discomfort will dissipate within 1-2 days for most. Apply warm or cold compresses for relief.

Question: How often can I receive treatment?

Answer: A minimum of three days between each treatment is a requirement as this allows the body time to heal and the also allows the body enough time to naturally eliminate lymph fluid and toxins through the lymphatic system. Overloading the lymphatic system is unhealthy and counterproductive. For any treatments to the buttocks, we recommend scheduling every two days.

Question
: What should I do after my treatment?

Answer: After treatment be sure to follow your aftercare instructions provided by your technician. However, it is most important to continue to consume water. No water no results! You also want to incorporate targeted exercises, wear your shapewear, and follow a nutritional meal plan. Avoid Alcoholic beverages, caffeine, sugary drinks, and nicotine.

Question: How long will my results last?

Answer: Results can be permanent for most with proper diet, exercise, supplements, and maintenance appointments. Maintenance appointments are recommended every one to two months.  If you return back to your old eating habits, the fat will return, same as traditional surgery. Fillers typically last up to 6 months. Vacuum butt therapy results typically last up to 6 months when combined with targeted exercises and the recommended supplements.

Question: How often should I wear my waist trainer?

Answer: Wear your waist trainers and compression garments as much as possible. The more you train your waist, the better your results will be.  6-8 hours per day is recommended at a minimum. Post-surgery clients should be wearing their fajas all day with the exception of personal hygiene maintenance.
